AFIK they are still available from the factory, I think there may be a little wait as they produce them in batches.

When I last inquired prices were the price were very similar to the wide.

If Timblejim can't help :

I have a tub that has been cut off on the side panels , plus a scuttle (very early one with the front cut out and an aluminium front to it , would look good with a Carbon front though .

Looking for a small amount to clear them out of the way .

I do know someone who has a set of used bodywork as well , feel free to give me a call and I will pass on their details .

They do have the moulds for some Narrow bodywork there as already noted it costs about the same as wide stuff , as for anything else I answer that I am sure they would still be able to supply service parts like clutch cables etc but perhaps not stuff like carpets .

Aero, do you do narrow tubs?

Not sure who you spoke to, but I had a swept wing, narrow scuttle and bonnet from the factory two years ago.  I think someone there is labouring under incorrect info.  Call again and speak to Gavin, I'm sure they still have the moulds.

I support what Scott says you need to talk to Gavin, last year I bought a narrow high line bonnet, it took about 3 months to get but they are available.

Julian confirmed earlier this year that narrow bodywork (high line) was still available to special order.

There are some things like trim if I recall correctly, that aren't available. But then trim is one of those things that can always be re-made by a local specialist if necessary. Even things like seats can be re-covered, specially if a trimmer can use the original vinyl parts to take a pattern from.

As has been said, most other parts are either standardish parts or are common to wide bodies anyway. So generally can be sourced via the usual parts places that will still deal with old Ford bits.

There are one or two exceptions, see the recent brake master cylinder threads on here; it looks like original MC's have just been exhausted now. But the thread also included the solution, (can't remember off the top of my head whether it was a rebuild or what ever).

But rest assured, it will be many years before a narrow becomes unmaintainable due to lack of parts

Actually, strike that last sentence; as the classic car boys prove, it's perfectly possible to maintain and keep running vehicles for which NO original parts etc are available, just more of a challenge! And you learn to make more...

No , sorry I don't do any tubs as noted you can get them but bodywork does have a bit of a lead time I beleive .

As noted I have got one if of any help the sides have been trimmed and has been painted , does want tidying up , I've got it advertised for £50 , but if a member wants it I will do it for £25 come and take it away .........
