Zetec Bits - Aftermarket Cams, MT75, Lightened Crank Pulley, Flywheel etc

I've somehow amassed quite a few spares over the last few months which will no longer be required do to an upcoming engine change. All parts are located in Huddersfield and collection is more than welcome.

Zetec 1.8 Blacktop Bottom-End

For sale is a Zetec blacktop 1.8 bottom-end - used for (nearly) 2 races in a Ginetta G20 racecar (these cars run TBs and a standard 7,000rpm limiter).

This bottom-end is entirely standard in everyway and has not been modified or uprated. Standard rods, pistons, rod bolts etc.

The engine was running and working perfectly when taken from the car.

As you can see from the photos the bores etc look like new. If you're already running a 1.8 then this is a very cheap spare - or alternatively if you're looking to build a monster 2.0/2.1 zetec this is a very cheap way to get what is effectively a brand new blacktop bottom-end.

Please note that only the bottom-end is for sale, no sump or pulleys etc. If you require anymore photos please don't hesitate to ask.

Collection only from Huddersfield please - £100

Billet Alloy Lightened Zetec Crank Pulley

This weighs just over 100grams so by fitting this you can save over 1kg of rotating mass! Never fitted but has a few scratches and marks here and there from where it's been kicking around on my workbench.

Scholar Race Engines Lightened Flywheel

This was a standard 2.0 flywheel (12.5kg) that was lightened by Scholar Race engines and now weighs just 7.5kg.

MT75 Gearbox

This was a 'spare' MT75 gearbox that I got when buying my un-finished kitcar. It's never been used and has been sat in the corner of my garage. It's very gruby but the input shaft is true and clean. Selects gears OK. No reason to suspect it's not working as the builder of my car removed it from a working sierra, however I have no idea of the mileage or ratios of the box.

Comes with gear-stick cradle/frame.

No photo I'm afraid - can get one if required but everyone knows what an MT75 looks like?

£80 - collection ONLY from Huddersfield.

Blacktop Zetec Cylinder Head, Camcover, Pulleys and Ginetta Race Camshafts

This cylinder head was removed from the bottom-end that is for sale at the start of this post. The cylinder head was part of a brand-new crate engine and used for (nearly) 2 races in a Ginetta G20 racecar. The cylinder head is therefore effectively brand new as can be seen in the photos.

Ginetta have there own specification for the camshafts that run in these cars so I am unable to tell you what the lift/duration of these cams are. I did try and measure the lift when I first took delivery of the engine and from memory believe that the increase is around 2mm over a standard 2.0 cam so would make a decent 'stage 1' power increase for any zetec. I've no idea of the duration of the cams.

These cams would NOT require pocketted pistons etc. I was intending on fitting the cams and cylinder head complete to my silvertop bottom-end but am going in a different direction with the build. I would recommened that these cams are fitted to an engine with aftermarket induction (throttle bodies/carbs) to make the best of them.

The cheapest aftermarket cams that I can find for a blacktop are around £450. A brand new blacktop cylinder head from Ford is also around £450.
