Lifting Car Ramp Jack

Looks like a reasonable alternative and fairly priced. Beats the bricks and blocks of wood.

I have never got on with ramps. They always seem to move when you try to drive on to them even when blocked

I would rather jack up and put something under the wheel

I was under the car looking at the propshaft and even when I had a spare wheel under each wheel I didnt like it, very interested in something that will lift the whole car up securely

TOP TIP..! if you get old seat belts, webbing straps or even rope tie to the bottom of ramp and lay on the ground in front of ramps so as your front wheels are approaching the ramps the rear wheels are on the rope and this stops the ramps from slipping

Also like this idea, I used a couple of planks under them, didn't think of rope or old webbing strap!

I like the idea too - now where can I get some old webbing straps?

eBay old seat belts, bet they are dirt cheap for someone breaking a car :)

Hi

I was told old piece of carpet wrapped around the bottom rung of the ramps will stop them moving away.

Michael.
