Kingster
Hi All Just joined after lurking for a long time as I have finally got around to ordering an SDV kit to go with the Sierra bits in my garage. I'll have some questions soon no doubt, but first off I need to make space by selling the MK Indy chassis that I was going to build until I saw the light Cheers Chris
s2rrr
Welcome and almost no question will ever go unanswered. Even what you consider to be daft ones. Bob

Norman Verona
Chris, correct, all questions will be answered but the answers may be as daft as you think the question is Seriously, there's a wealth of knowledge here on call at all times you may need it. The members of this club make it a very good club indeed.
Andy Banks
Welcome Stoneleigh kit car show just a few weeks away. Make sure you come along and get your questions answered. Where are you located...?
Kingster
Hi Andy Not sure if I can do Stoneleigh as it's a trek from Newcastle there and back in a day - and will just be back from a week away with SWMBO, so could only do Monday. Andy Banks
Can you get down Sunday and camp?
Kingster
Can you get down Sunday and camp? Hmmm.... possibly. But after managing to square up the 'ordering of the kit' with her, I will be pushing my luck going to somewhere that is bound to suck the life out of my wallet! Andy Banks
Ha! Wallets can be left at the member's drop off to avoid upgradeitis.

Kingster
Welcome! I've a Sierra SDV so if you need any pics of how bits fit pm me! I'll no doubt be in touch - one quick question though if I may... can you use the Sierra's rack and steering colum (I have a shortened quick rack and modded column already), and does the SDV use Transit drag links with Maxi all joints (again, already have them!)? I'll post these and other questions somewhere more suitable soon, but figured it was worth a quick punt Chris
SootySport
You'll need the Transit drag links and Maxi ball joints, yes. They go on the top wishbone to upright and bottom wishbone to upright respectively. Rack is usually an Escort one but I'm not sure if sierras can be used/adapted. pickmaster Andy Lowe
Welcome aboard As Andy says stoneleigh would help no end Just take a camera and stay on the Westfield parking area taking lots and lots of photos from every angle, it's the best chance you will get for a year
Kingster
So... if I manage to get to Stoneleigh, I notice the web site says camping is £30 - which is a lot for one night (all I could do) and i'd rather spend spare cash on bits! - is there any 'club' camping available etc?
